PUBLIC TASTINGS
On Thursdays and/or Fridays, by reservation only and for an audience limited to 25 visitors, Villa Cosmiana offers a light lunch tasting prepared by the chef from Ristorante Pasticceria Ferretti in Peccioli where the five wines of the estate are served and commented on.
The tasting is preceded by a historical tour of the villa and an oenological tour of its cellars; it starts at 11:00am and typically ends around 2:30 pm.
Private tastings
Every day of the week except Mondays and public holidays, Villa Cosmiana offers traditional Tuscan tastings-lunches and gastronomic tastings-dinners for a minimum number of ten visitors, preceded by a historical tour of the Villa and its art collections as well as a wine tour of its cellars and vaults.
Staying at Villa Cosmiana
For a few days or a few weeks, in sumptuous suites or superb apartments elegantly furnished and decorated with works of art and antiques borrowed from the estate’s collections, it is possible for a limited number of visitors interested in art and wine, to stay at Villa Cosmiana and immerse themselves in the serenity of an old Tuscan wine estate.
The residents, never more than a dozen on the entire fenced estate of 18 hectares, away from the world, but 15 minutes walk from the small town of Peccioli, have total access to the tranquility of the vineyards, park, gardens and swimming pool and can, if they wish, learn with the cellar master of the estate about the secrets of wine making and tasting.
The Suites in the estate manager’s apartment
A stone’s throw from the historic Villa, the estate manager’s apartment includes four prestigious suites that can accommodate 2 to 3 people for a minimum of three nights around a large art-deco lounge and a 200m² terrace.
The Casina
Overlooking the swimming pool, with a private garden and solarium, the casina, historically the estate’s wine blending buiding, is now a delightful fully equipped 50m² cottage available by the week for two to three people.
The Caretaker’s Lodge
Between vineyards and gardens, on the first floor of the last farm of the estate now used as a wine aging cellar, the caretaker’s lodge is a superb apartment of more than 100 m² fully equipped and available by the week to accommodate 2 to 3 people.
Events and Celebrations
From April to December, Villa Cosmiana regularly organizes, in its superb drawing rooms and magnificent gardens, prestigious receptions, events and oenology seminars for an audience of between 20 to 70 people.
