an Atmosphere of BEAUTY and EXCELLENCE
Unfortunately, nothing was kept in the Villa fom the original Etruscan and Roman collections of the first Amerigo Antinori (1748-1828), from the sculptures and paintings of Troubadour style that his grandson, the second Amerigo (1828-1902), collected and from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco artefacts lovingly acquired by Princess Maria Antinori-Aldobrandini (1870-1933).
However, the new collections gathered by the current owners, which range from classical Greco-Roman archeology to contemporary European painting with a strong focus on the French and Italian 18th century continue to illustrate the spirit and taste of its past owners and recreate that eclectic atmosphere of luxury and elegance which reigned over the estate from the 18th century to the 1930s.
