Poggio Cosmiano, named after the hill upon which the estate extends, is the traditional white wine
from the Pisan countryside revisited by Barbara Tamburini: to give it more body and aromas than
this grape variety usually has, Barbara subjects the vines to rigorous pruning which severely limits
the quantity of grapes that she also submits to drastic selection.
The result is a clear wine, with a pale-yellow colour, fresh and lively on the palate with aromas of
melon and cucumber as well as slight lemony notes.
It is an aperitif wine, for parties with friends, which goes very well with all fish, shellfish and
vegetable dishes.
